Do you feel that our society is having some intergeneration gap?What are some of the measures needed to bridge the issues?
I personally think that by volunteering at elderly home is 1 way of doing.

It a 2 way situation. If you look from the point of "you are never too old to learn", there should be no gap at all. In other words "old dog cannot learn new tricks", there will always be a gap and the gap will widen.
There must be activities that all generations can participate together.

Yes, but it starts with the parenting. If parents dont make it a point to bridge the gap between grandparents and grand children, it is likely they will not know how to communicate.

the gap is more obvious between the illiterates or Chinese educated elderly and the younger and English educated population. The younger generation have to reach out to the older generation
