Yet another sign of climate change?

No more Christmas on ice: For the first time ever, the city of North Pole, Alaska, has canceled its annual Christmas ice park. Ponds aren't frozen enough to gather enough ice for carving, Here are the broader dangers of the Arctic thaw.

I absolutely love ice sculptures.

It's been a number of years since our city actually had ice sculptures in the park. You just never know if it's going to be cold enough but it was definitely spectacular when it was it's sad to hear about Alaska and no more Christmas on ice. Signs of climate change with the Arctic thaw

As for climate change the weather we had twelve years ago was warmer in December than this year .This year is warmer than the last five years .I am enjoying this climate change this year after winters that were six months long. Reply

Funny how THIS is 'climate change' (the hijacked term) because ONE place is warmer than normal.
But when the ENTIRE central and eastern portion of more than HALF of North America is cold and has been cold since the beginning of November, it's only 'weather'.
What more proof does one need - other than, of course, the total lack of rigorous and proper statistical analysis backing up the 'science' - that 'climate change' (the hijacked term) is nothing more than a well-organized, politically correct scam, preying on the gullible and scientifically uneducated.
And let's not forget the ever-changing target and terminology. NOW, it's 'global carbon pollution'! I guess since I will deny this (based on lack of proper scientific evidence), I will be labelled as someone who denies REAL pollution. So be it, because I don't care.
Keeping score, my family and I ARE on track for 50 tonnes of CO2 in 2019 - EACH! Merry Christmas!

It isn't a problem in Yellowknife at the moment, but last March, we had 1 day of plus 25, and everything melted. Right back to cold the next day, it was weird. Reply

Winters for us over the last few years has been a mixture of freeze and thaws. Many people in my community used to have homemade backyard hockey/skating rinks but they have become to much work with not getting the temperatures right. Reply
