Have you ever had outlandish hair?
Closed

My hair is brown, has always been brown and always will be brown... I don’t see why people feel the need to dye their hair and certainly not with bizarre colours!!! Even when (if) it starts to turn grey, I will leave it as its natural colour!

This week, a contestant on Come Dine With Me had bright blue hair... Why? She was also the Headteacher of a primary school! I would say that is not a good example to be setting her pupils for future job prospects!

I just turned on the TV and watched The Travel Show. One of the presenters has, you guessed it, bright blue hair! Arghhhhhhhh! Why? LOL!

Have you ever dyed your hair a bizarre colour? Why?

I have brown hair but in my 40's I decided to have purple highlights - my husband didn't notice for weeks

Being blessed with the face of an English adonis I have resisted any thoughts or colouring, piercings or inkings so that my wondrousness can be seen by all.

I've had mine pink, purple or both at times when I can be bothered to colour it which takes time as it's waist length.
Why? Because I can!
I don't see it as a problem on other people either, just a personal choice although it beats me why anyone would want to dye their hair ginger as some do.

I've had my hair so many different colours, brown, black, blonde, red, pink, purple. I even had 5 colours in it at once. I did it because I felt like having a change and I like colour.

I don't think a headteacher having blue hair is setting a bad example at all. It's something she likes, it expresses a part of her personality and she is showing confidence in owning your style. Wouldn't it be an awful place to live if we all remained the same and had no colour in our lives, eh?

When I used to have hair it was brown; alas what little I have left is gradually turning grey !
